The first note we are going to learn is “B”. Push the keys on your Oboe that correlate with the fingering chart. With the correct keys pressed, set with good posture, take a deep breath, set your embouchure, connect the tongue to the reed, build up air pressure, and release the tongue! Click the audio sample to the right to hear what this note should sound like. Practice this note a few times before going on.

The next note we are going to learn is “A”. Push the keys on your Oboe that correlate with the chart. Much like you did for the first note, play a few long tones on this “A”. Click the audio sample to the right to hear what this note should sound like. Practice this note a few times, then go on.
